Next Saturday sees the release of V-Moda’s latest earphones, the $101 Vibe range - and they look great.
These noise-isolating headphones show great attention to detail with an alloy design and gold-plated headphone jack. They also come with a gold leather carry pouch and VIP card access to exclusive “V-MODA modcasts” (whatever that means). Initially they will be available in chrome and gunmetal black color schemes.
Soundwise, the V-Moda claim the Vibe’s V-MASQUE dynamic speaker will give a natural and warm soundstage while still offering a rich and precise bass.
Let’s hope the sound quality matches the looks!

Yeah Valters, I really hope these sound as good as they look. They seem a bit of a weird choice for DJing though.

The V-Moda vibe is a good earphone. It actually sounds excactly like the Soundwise G4 earphone. I have tried both. The V-Moda is a little more styled but the G4 looks good too and it around half the price.

Hi Kirsten,
I have the Soundwise TC20 and love it. I got mine from www.soundwise.co.uk, but have now seen there is www.soundwiseusa.com. Not sure if Soundwise is British or American. They do offer good value though and the service I received was brilliant.

I use a pair of soundwise S6 with my iPod,for jogging, and it works really well. The earphone itself is made of some kind of metal. It has a really nice sound and fits perfectly. It blocks sounds a bit too well, so you do need to watch the traffic. I have no idea the origins of the company but delivery was fast enough.

Cheers for the comment Kylie. The S6 do look quite good, especially if they stay on as well as you say.

I was googling Soundwise and found a link to their website that has one of there earphones at half price. It does not seem to be advertised on their homepage, so not sure if it is supposed to be public.
Form reading all the reviews and forums, the soundwise G3 seems to be a very good earphones even at £26 at at £13 I had to order(actually ordered 2).

After reading the review here I decided to buy a pair of Soundwise S6. I have to agree with the other posters that they are really good. If you do jogging you need a pair of these, even if you don’t you still need. They are actually the cheapest earphones I own and they are the best. Better than anything double their price. Delivery was super fast too.

After reading all the reviews I thought I would try the Soundwise S6. I am really impressed. I do alot of cross country and they have such a good fit. I think its almost impossible to dislodge these. The metal allow case thing provides really nice crisp sounds and deep bass. 4.5 out of 5 I think

I just bought the soundwise S6 earbuds. It was a bit of a shot in the dark for me because it’s a small company with only a few reviews. I went for it and just got them in the mail last week. They’re exactly as described by limited number of reviews. The fit snug in the ear and don’t even come close to falling out when running. The sound is the best I’ve heard from a pair of headphones; although, I don’t have a huge range of sets I’ve tried. You can take the ear pieces off if you want, but you can seriously hardly even tell that they’re there. The customer support was super fast responding to all the questions I had before tkaing the plunge. The shipping was fast (within a week). After all the sets of crappy earbuds I;ve tried these are definitely a breath of fresh air. I’m considering ordering another pair, just in case they aren’t available after I wear these out.

Just bought some Soundwise G4’s for my 3G Nano via the UK website. Impressed with the sound quality for the money (£28 including UK delivery), less than impressed with the customer service - please don’t advertise despatch within 24 hours unless you can honour it and don’t offer an e-mail contact address and then not respond to your customers who use it! The phones fit well in the ear (mine and my wifes, both very different sizes) with the aid of the different size silicone buds included and seem very comfortable. To my ears they produce a deep bass, slightly good mid range and a slightly muted top end but I am still playing around with the EQ settings on the Nano to see what works best.

I Just bout a pair of Soundwise S6 and was both impressed with customer service and the earphones. I did get a email within 24hrs to say they were dispatched and they arrived the day after that. So looks like they do ‘normally at least’ dispatch in 24hrs, They also respond within 24hrs to an email I sent them.
I would say the earphones are comparable with my mates v-moda vibe, but are more comfortable. I am really happy. I was trying to find the best price for a pair of v-moda vibe but really happy I found the Soundwise S6. Even if I did not do alot of jogging I would still rate the S6 as the best pair of earphones in the price range actually maybe even for double the price.

Response to Susan’s post - glad to hear you had a better experience. However mine were dispatched after 3 days, no confirmation e-mail of despatch was received and no response to any of the 3 e-mails I sent. Have also read a lot of negative feedback on other forums about lack of product guarantee (we’re just a distributor, not our problem)and problems with returns of unused products - so be warned; next time I would probably be tempted to pay more for some V-Moda’s at John Lewis and know that they would sort out any product problems without any arguments. But you pays your money..

In response to Susan and Eamonn. I bought from Soundwise in the uk but got the Yahaba Opus. I was really happy with the customer service when I bought and had no problem with delivery. I managed to break them after 9 months really hard use. I contacted them just to see, not hoping for too much. I did have to wait about 48 hours for an answer but they did honor the guarantee. They offered to either replace or upgrade for half the price difference, without having to post back. I preferred not have to go to bother of posting back and wait so upgraded to the TC20. It cost less than £5 (free delivery) and arrived the day after.
My experience was positive, 8/10 (2 points of for making me wait almost 2 days for response). I don’t think they are a distributor? A distributor would only sell to companies?
The only think I can think of with them not answering your mail is maybe it got stuck in their spam guard or perhaps the reply in yours. I have had that with other companies.
