DIY iPod Shuffle Headphones

It’s been a while since I last reported on a pair of DIY headphones but I though this design from Adam Zhang was too good to miss.

It’s actually a fairly simple design with the iPod Shuffle attached directly to the headband of a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-F55’s. Despite it’s simplicity, the Shuffle almost looks like it belongs on the headphones.

Apart from the duct tape, of course!

DIY noise-isolating headphonesFollowing on from my earlier post about DIY headphones, someone at instructables has gone one better with a pair of DIY noise-isolating earphones.

Unfortunately this pair of headphones aren’t completely DIY since you need a cheap pair of earphones to start with but it’s a neat idea. I especially like the use of earplugs as in-canal attachments.

I’d be a bit worried about them coming loose and getting stuck in my ear-hole though!
